Steiff Rocks Woodstock Teddy bear, 5-way jointed, made from a shaggy brown colored mohair and is limited to 969 pieces.
The Woodstock Festival, held in August 1969, in Bethel, New York, was a landmark event in music history, symbolizing the counterculture movement of the 1960s. The Woodstock Music and Art Fair took place on a dairy farm owned by Max Yasgur, attracting over 400,000 attendees despite initial ticket sales. It was originally planned for the town of Woodstock but was relocated due to local opposition. The festival was billed as "An Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace & Music" and became a defining moment for the generation of the 1960s. Bear has hand-stitched nose and snout. Woodstock holds up a peace sign, wears a printed denim vest with plush trim and embroidered Woodstock icons. Included accessories are round black sunglasses and a peace pendant necklace.
Woodstock comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.
