100 years ago on 7 March 1923, Richard Steiff moved to the United States with his family. On anniversary of his moving, an absolutely unique vintage-relic awaits you, the likes of which have never been seen before. Baerle from 1905, Steiff's oldest jointed Teddy bear in the Steiff archives, not only served as a visual model, but this replica is also a lovingly detailed reproduction of Baerle in its present state.

As most collectors know, Steiff invented the original Teddy bear in 1902. Now this priceless original has been meticulously recreated and has been aged to perfection. These highly precise recreations look amazingly like their antique originals with obvious signs of wear, moth holes, and other characteristics that give them a truly vintage look. Claws and nose are hand garnished, paw pads are made of wool felt and he has a sewn in Replica ear tag on the side seam. Produced in a very small edition size he is destined to become one of the most desirable replica of all time.
