The french bulldog is a small, muscular breed known for its distinctive bat like ears, playful personality, and adaptability, making it one of the most popular dog breeds today. It appeared in Paris in the mid nineteenth century, apparently the result of cross-breeding of toy bulldogs imported from England and local Parisian ratters. His snout is made of brown velvet and has hand stitched nose and mouth. Airbrush details on ears, eyes and the snout provide a nice touch to this piece. He wears a festive green satin bow around the neck.
