The Shaggy bear is made from dark brown mohair, is 17 cm in size, is not jointed, has glass eyes, is filled with wood shavings and is limited to 500 pieces.

The Shaggy bear 1914 (Zottel) was manufactured during demonstrations at the ninth "Steiff Sommer" in 2014. It was back in 1914 that the Steiff “Zottelbaer” (Shaggy)first saw the light of day. At the Steiff Summer in 2014, Margarete Steiff GmbH marked Shaggy bear’s 100th birthday by recreating him as part of its manufacturing demonstration.

Shaggy does not come in a box but has a certificate of authenticity.
