ALF was an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990. The title character, nicknamed ALF (an acronym for Alien Life Form), is a sarcastic, friendly extraterrestrial from the planet Melmac who crash lands in the garage of a suburban middle-class family. The show won many awards over the span of four seasons. Steiff has recreated ALF using both mohair and Trevira velvet, a perfect combination for capturing ALF's rich fur and detailed facial features.
